Career Opportunities in Information and Library Science

Librarian
A librarian is mainly responsible for organising books based on subjects and genre, issuing books, and ensuring that returned books/audio/video files are catalogued appropriately.

Library Manager
A library manager oversees the overall working of a library. They are responsible for acquiring new books and informational media based on the needs of the establishment.

Library Consultant
A library consultant is a professional who is hired to set up a new library. They are tasked with acquiring relevant books and informational media to establish a new library or upgrade an existing library.

Law Librarian
A law librarian specifically works in a library dedicated to the study of law. They are responsible for maintaining reading and informational material related to different branches of law.
