From the Desk of the Director Students’ Welfare

As the Director of Students’ Welfare at Sandip University, Sijoul, I take pride in our commitment to holistic student development beyond academics. Aligned with UGC Guidelines and NEP-2020, we provide diverse opportunities in physical fitness, sports, mental well-being, and skill enhancement to our students.
Our university offers various clubs such as—Sports, Cultural, Photography, English, Electoral Literacy and Community Club to nurture student interests. We prioritize well-being through stress management sessions, yoga, meditation, and health awareness programs, often conducted in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, UNESCO Club, and the Community Health Centres. Social Immersion Programs further cultivate a sense of community and responsibility.
The Super Saturday Program hones essential soft skills like leadership, decision-making, and adaptability, preparing students for career success. Additionally, ‘English for All’ and ‘English Proficiency’ programs support Hindi-medium students, while foreign language courses in French expand global engagement.
At Sandip University, we strive to create an enriching, inclusive environment that empowers students to excel academically, professionally, and personally, fostering positive change in society.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my team and university leadership for their unwavering support.
