To explore the research methods and techniques for LIS research, to apply metrics for evaluating LIS and research publications, to draft the current problems and solutions in the field of library and information science. |
PO2 | To aware of latest web technologies applied in the modernization of LICs, to have a critical and evaluative outlook on the web browser, services, markup languages and websites. |
PO3 | To update the marketing skills in delivering information products and services, to design a new plan and strategies on marketing the information products and services by undertaking suitable research on them. |

Academic Librarian
Academic librarians are recruited by schools and other educational institutions to manage the academic and recreational material available in their library.

Library Attendant
Librarian attendants are professionals who conduct the day-to-day activities within the library including stacking, storing, cataloguing, and racking of books and other information materials.

Information Analyst
An information analyst is a professional who gathers, manages, analyses, and stores data within a system network. They are also tasked with preparing performance reports related to the systems.

Technical Writer
A technical writer is someone who creates content for technical manuals and journals in the field of their speciality. They also collect and analyse information used to prepare technical journals.
