The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a 4-year undergraduate program structured across eight semesters in strict compliance with Pharmacy Council of India regulations. It provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary foundation covering key branches such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Analysis.
The curriculum emphasizes advanced laboratory and technical training, giving students hands-on experience with modern analytical instruments like HPLC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, and Dissolution Apparatus.
To bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application, the program integrates mandatory industrial visits, plant internships, and hospital clinical exposure. Community Pharmacist

1. Pharmaceutics Lab
- Tablet Compression Machine: Used for compressing powders into tablets to demonstrate large-scale solid dosage manufacturing.
- Dissolution Test Apparatus: Measures the rate and extent at which a drug dissolves in bodily fluids.
- Disintegration Test Apparatus: Determines the time required for tablets or capsules to break down into smaller particles.
- Friability Tester: Evaluates the physical strength and resistance of tablets to abrasion during packaging and transit.
- High-Speed Homogenizer & Probe Sonicator: Used for uniform mixing, particle-size reduction, and stabilizing nano-formulations, emulsions, and suspensions.
2. Pharmacology Lab
- Rotarod Apparatus: Evaluates motor coordination and muscle relaxant activity in experimental models.
- Actophotometer: Measures the locomotor activity of laboratory animals to study Central Nervous System (CNS) active drugs.
- Analgesiometer (Hot Plate / Tail Flick): Assesses the effectiveness of pain-relieving (analgesic) drugs.
- Pole Climbing Apparatus: Used for studying cognitive behaviour, anxiety, and memory-enhancing responses.
- Student Organ Bath (Kymograph System): Records drug-induced contractions and relaxations on isolated tissue preparations.
3. Pharmacognosy Lab
- Soxhlet Extractor: Used for continuous extraction of bioactive natural compounds from plant sources using solvents.
- Clevenger Apparatus: Designed for isolating essential oils from plant materials through steam distillation.
