Welcome to the School of Commerce and Management Studies (SOCMS), Sandip University, Madhubani, Bihar. We have post-graduate (MBA) and undergraduate (BBA) programs with dual specialization as major and minor. Over the last five years, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core areas of the management programs namely Marketing, Finance and Human Resource. We also offer PhD (Management) program.

As per my experience and interactions with young minds what I understand that as students, you often find yourselves in a whirlwind of academic and extracurricular activities with so much to do and so little time to do all the diverse stuffs. Your educational journey is an incredibly valuable gift, and it is crucial that you embrace it with an open mind, an eager heart and a desire to grow.

The process of learning is an on-going one, and it is up to you to make the most of it. You can choose to be proactive in your studies and explore your interests, pushing yourselves to grow and expand your knowledge. Taking responsibility for your own learning and pushing yourselves to do your best is essentially attached to your path of success. It is also important to remember that the learning process is not a linear one, and that it often involves trial and error, sufferings and failures. It is important to recognize that mistakes are a part of your learning process, and that failure is not indicative of your worth or your capabilities. You have immense capabilities to counter failures with much larger success.

You should also be mindful of the importance of collaborating with your teachers, classmates and other students. You can learn from each other and work together to achieve your goals. Asking for and offering help is essential to success, and building meaningful relationships with your peers and teachers is an invaluable part of the learning process.

The journey of learning is a unique and special one, and it is up to you to make the most of it. You must be mindful of your capabilities and the importance of pushing yourselves to grow and learn.

Our department (SOCMS) has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and good academic experience. Our faculty members serve on the editorial boards of national and international journals, review technical articles for journals, organize workshops and conferences on a regular basis.
